Anvie Alcayde is a dedicated educator with over 18 years of experience in the field. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Family Resources from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding family dynamics and their impact on education. Furthering her dedication to educational excellence, Anvie earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Chaminade University of Honolulu. Her advanced studies equipped her with the skills and knowledge to lead and inspire within the educational community, emphasizing both theoretical and practical aspects of education.

Anvie has taught from preschool to 12th grade, demonstrating a strong commitment to student growth at every level. Her experience includes roles such as department head, curriculum coordinator, preschool director, and vice principal. This diverse background gives her a deep understanding of the needs at each educational stage, allowing her to tailor her approach for maximum student success. Her ability to connect with students of all ages is key to her teaching philosophy, ensuring they receive the support needed to excel. Anvie's leadership has been vital in implementing innovative curricula and fostering a collaborative environment, driving positive outcomes in academic achievement and school improvement.

Passionate about linking teachers and students with industry professionals and career mentors, Anvie believes in the powerful role that both educators and industry partners play in preparing individuals for work-based learning.
